DESCRIPTION:Benefit Concert for Mercy Ecospirituality Center \nSunday\, September 22\, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.\nMcCarthy Arts Center Recital Hall \nThe Mercy Ecospirituality Center\, a sponsored work of the Sisters of Mercy\, is pleased to announce a benefit concert featuring Vermont’s Freedom & Unity Chorus. The concert will take place on Sunday\, September 22nd at 3:00 p.m. in the McCarthy Arts Center Recital Hall. \nProceeds from the event will support the Center’s mission to inspire reverence for the Earth and promote a harmonious relationship with all of creation. The Mercy Ecospirituality Center focuses on connecting people with nature and healing the planet through a variety of practices\, including local outreach initiatives\, gardening\, beekeeping\, farming\, and sustainability. \nVermont’s Freedom & Unity Chorus is directed by St. Mike’s alumna and staff member\, Maria Rinaldi. Known for their inspiring performances\, the chorus brings people together through the power of music to spread the message of unity\, hope\, and harmony. Their program will complement the Mercy Ecospirituality Center’s mission and create a beautiful and uplifting afternoon of music. \nTickets for the benefit concert are $20 and can be purchased at the door. There will also be a raffle to support the Center and refreshments available.
