Events Calendar

Undergraduate and graduate alumni as well as SMC families and Trinity College alumnae are always welcome at SMC regional events!

This schedule changes often so we invite you to check back regularly. With the help of our alumni and parent volunteers, the Office of Alumni and Family Relations plans over 60 events over the course of the year, from California to Maine and everywhere in between! November 2018 

Nov. 3 - Washington, D.C. Service Project at the Capital Area Food Bank, 4900 Puerto Rico Ave., NE. Project will consist of sorting and packing donated items. The volunteer age minimum is 12. Parking is available onsite and the Food Bank is metro accessible. A few spots are still available! Organized by Sarah Shinkman '08. 

Nov. 9 - 11th Annual Career Symposium. Our largest on-campus career exploratory event of the year! Check here for full details. 

Nov. 13 - Saint Michael's Annual Day of Giving Campaign. Check back soon for how you can support St. Mike's and give thanks to someone who helped make your college experience special.

Nov. 14 - Annual Harpoon Brewery Tasting Event, 306 Northern Avenue, Boston. 6:30-8:30 p.m. $40 person for full tasting pints, huge soft pretzels (courtesy of your friends in the Alumni Office) and an optional tour of the brewery. Click here to register. Space is limited and may sell out prior to the deadline. A great opportunity to network with fellow Purple Knights!

Nov. 15 - New York City Social at The Penny Farthing from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Organized by Niall Keane '18. 


December 2018 

Dec. 1 - Annual Children's Christmas Party for children and grandchildren of alumni, faculty and staff. 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the Green Mountain Dining Room in Alliot. Arts and crafts and games for kids 2-12. Santa will be making an appearance! 

Dec. 13 - NYC Christmas Social and Hat and Mitten Drive at the Galway Hooker Bar, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please bring new hats, mittens, scarves and other warm articles of clothing to support the Covenant House. Organized by Molly Moore '11 and Mia Weber '11.

January 2018 

Jan. 8 - Boston Career Seminar and Networking Reception at Elephant and Castle. Seminar for students and panelists: 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Networking Reception for all alumni and students: 6:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. Hosted by Steve Giulietti '99, Amy Murphy Dowd '92 and Lauren Remmes Delaney '07. 

Jan. 10 - New York City Career Seminar and Networking Reception. Seminar will take place at Gensler and Networking Reception at the Playwright Tavern. Hosted by Pat Fitzgibbons '89 and Thomas Hanna '87. 

Jan. 29 - Boston Bruins game. More details to come.
