What do you like about St. Mike's?
I love the people here at St. Mike's! There is always somebody new and interesting to meet!
What's your favorite class?
My favorite class so far has been Fairy Tales with Professor Marquess. I really enjoyed going back to stories from my childhood and looking at them in a new light. It was also exciting to work on our own relative tales!
What's your favorite spot on-campus?
My favorite spot on campus is under the tree just to the right of the Library. If I am swinging in my hammock or lying in the grass, this spot is great for doing homework outside and enjoying the Vermont weather.
What's one thing you've learned at SMC that's been surprising or inspiring?
At Saint Michael's College I have learned so much about who I am as a person. I am always surprised when I look back at how quiet and shy I was before college in comparison to how happy and spirited I am now. SMC helped me find myself!
In what ways do you engage or give back to the community?
On campus I am involved in several clubs and activities. I am a member on the Volleyball team here at SMC and love to be active. I will be a Resident Assistant for 2015-2016 and hope to continue on in the years to follow. I love to give back to the community around St. Mike’s by volunteering at the local Boys and Girls Club.
What do you want to do with your life?
I want to be a high school math teacher and coach volleyball in the future. I also hope to be able to continue volunteering to work with children.
20 years from now, what do you think a favorite college memory will be?
It is hard to pick one favorite memory, but I am sure that I will smile when I think back to all the adventures with the volleyball team and the times I spent with friends.
What makes you happy?
There are so many things that make me happy; some of those include candy, cute animals, the sun and much more!
