Learn the basics of sewing— an incredibly useful, and practical developmental skill— and get a chance to make something yourself, or repair a garment! MakerSpace staff will teach participants how to use the sewing machines, and assist with sewing projects. The MakerSpace carries a variety of fabrics and sewing materials available for the campus community to use. Limited seats available- sign up ahead of time by emailing makerspace@smcvt.edu.

The Saint Michael’s College UpLIFT program enhances and diversifies the student experience through a myriad of opportunities including workshops, presentations, leadership opportunities and interactions with students, faculty, staff, alumni and the greater community. Participants develop self-awareness, understanding and cultural competency while learning to live honestly, respectfully and inclusively as they Do Well and Do Good during their time at Saint Michael’s College and beyond.
Stop by the MakerSpace on Friday, March 4th at 8PM to learn the vinyl cutter and make your own stickers! This Friday Knight Dry activity will provide tickets to participants who can then use them to enter the raffle happening later in the evening.
