We make the process stress-free
Saint Michael’s has no application fee
College is expensive enough. We don’t believe students should pay to send in an application, so it will cost students nothing to apply!
St. Mike’s does not require test scores.
St. Mike’s has been a test-optional institution since 2009. We let the students choose whether they want to share their SAT and ACT test scores with us.
We are flexible on transfer credits.
At Saint Michael’s, transferring credits from another institution is easy! Students work closely with our Admission counselors to determine how those credits apply.

Saint Michael’s Office of Purposeful Learning helps students adjust to college and seek meaning and inspiration in academic and hands-on experiences as they prepare for their future and look for a career filled with purpose.
We set students up for success
Saint Michael’s keeps students on track for graduation and equips them with the skills needed to get that first job out of college. 95 percent of St. Mike’s grads on average are employed within the first six months of getting their diploma.

We want students to feel like they can be their authentic selves at Saint Michael’s. We work to first make sure they feel welcome in the admission process by recognizing their chosen name and their preferred pronouns, and by understanding who they are as individuals.

We believe that the best way to pick a college is to experience it in person. Saint Michael’s provides financial assistance to admitted students and their families so they can visit our campus in Vermont.

Not only has Burlington been named a top college town in America, and one of the healthiest, happiest and most appealing cities in the United States, there is also an abundance of real-world job experience and internship opportunities.
Hands-On Experience
St. Mike’s is home to the first college-affiliated fire and rescue squad in New England. Comprised solely of current St. Mike’s students, the Fire and Rescue program has been providing 24/7 critical emergency services on campus, and to the neighboring communities, for over fifty years. They respond to more than 2,400 calls annually!
A Focus on Sustainability
A core value at Saint Michael’s College is sustainability, with our Institute for the Environment, Farm Program and Natural Area providing living laboratories for students to learn about the natural world. With over 400 acres of land to learn from, the College has plenty of space to explore stewardship and conduct research and outreachh.
