Diane B. DiCicco M’76
Diane B. DiCicco, Colchester, VT, died August 14, 2023.
Diane grew up in Detroit and graduated from Immaculata High School and the University of Detroit with a degree in elementary education. While at the University, she met Dominic Di Cicco and they were married on June 27, 1964, and she accompanied him to Oklahoma where he completed his military service. They then moved to New York where he was employed by IBM and their two children were born. Then the family transferred in 1968 to Essex Junction, VT. Diane accepted a teaching position in Malletts Bay School in Colchester and attended classes at Saint Michael’s where she earned a Master of Education Degree in 1976. She continued her teaching career as well as being appointed an associate professor at Saint Michel’s and supervising student teachers in many schools in the area.
She retired from her teaching career in 1995 and continued to support Dominic in many Knights of Columbus activities both locally as well as statewide. She was also very active in bridge groups and swimming exercises at the Edge.
Diane is survived by her husband, Dominic, a son and daughter and extended family.
