Edward J. Degnan ’80

EDWARD J. DEGNAN, San Antonio, TX, died December 30, 2022. After Saint Michael’s, Edward graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine, and Albany Medical Center Hospital OB-GYN residency program. He worked for many years as an obstetrician, gynecologist, and physician. Edward served in both the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army as a dedicated flight surgeon, retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel. He enjoyed and took much pride in his 18 years of military service. Edward loved spending his time outdoors, reading, and gardening. He also enjoyed exploring Ecuador and sporting activities with his son Jean. Edward is survived by his wife Brenda, children, a grandson, and extended family.
