Jeffrey A. Sperber ’75
Jeffrey A. Sperber, Nesconset, NY, died September 25, 2024, the College learned recently.
After Saint Michael’s, where he was with the Class of 1975 for three years, Jeff served his Long Island community for 32 years with the Suffolk County Police Department, a career he took seriously and loved.
Jeff was an avid reader, music lover and enjoyed skiing in the winter and boating in the summer. He had a deep passion for sports, which he shared with his daughters, along with the talent for effortlessly chatting with anyone they met. Dogs and plants seemed to thrive under his watchful eye — his beloved dog, Jasmine, can confirm. His grandchildren knew him for his great gifts to them, and for his funny “dad jokes” and sarcasm.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne, two daughters, three stepdaughters, a sister and extended family.
