John “Sonny” Beaulieu ’70

JOHN “SONNY” BEAULIEU, Grantham, NH, died March 5, 2023. A Maine native, Sonny earned an MPA from the University of Maine, Orono, after Saint Michael’s before starting his work career in restaurant management, primarily in Boston and in Portland, ME. He later found his niche in sales with Toyota Automotive and in real estate as broker/owner of John Bull Properties. Sonny loved golf and was a lifelong fan of all Boston sports. He enjoyed many vacations to wineries in California and France and was active in his community for many years, including supporting people with AIDS, and as a leader in real estate professional organizations. He was an avid storyteller with a remarkable recollection for minutiae. His stories and writing were epic. Friends will remember him as a loving and caring, loyal soul. He is survived by his wife, Diane, a brother and extended family.
