Michael Coughlin ’81

Michael Coughlin, Port St. Lucie, FL, died June 9, 2023. Mike attended St. Joseph’s and St. Paul’s Catholic schools in Bristol, CT, before majoring in history at Saint Michael’s, where many lasting friendships began.

“Mr. C” taught at Fort Pierce Central High School, PSL and the Lucanus School, Hollywood FL, for many years. He was always a champion of the underdogs, be it in life or a New York sports team. Mike was a great sports lover, JV football coach and coordinator and volunteer for the Special Olympics. Mike’s greatest pride was his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Patty), a son, a daughter, a brother, five sisters and extended family.
