Michael W. Shea ’71

MICHAEL W. SHEA, Edina, MN, died November 19, 2022. Mike was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a platoon leader in the First Infantry Division before coming to Saint Michael’s where he majored in history. He next graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School in 1974 and worked for the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, and then as an Administrative Law Judge for the USDA, retiring in 2004. In retirement, Mike spent 13 years volunteering for Bridging, delivering furniture to those in need. He loved history, poetry, Ireland and art. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Anne, a daughter, a brother, three sisters and extended family.
