Paul F. Conwell ’74

Paul F. Conwell, Atherton, CA, died January 8, 2024, the College learned recently.

He grew up in Atheron, CA, and graduated from Westmoor High School in 1969 before coming to Saint Michael’s. His interests as a young man included guitar, painting and sketching, chess and running. Youthful jobs including tarring roofs and tour guide at the San Francisco Zoo.

Paul started his undergraduate college years in Nebraska but came to Saint Michael’s to graduate after a junior year abroad in Rome where he met Saint Michael’s students who became friends. After Saint Michael’s, he graduated from New College of California School of Law in 1985.

According to College records, he lived around the world after college doing a variety of jobs such as teaching and doing legal work in San Francisco, and for an insurance company, defending against claims.

He was a Fellows Club supporter of the College. No obituary or information about survivors was available.
