Robert Levins ’53

Robert Levins, Overlook, PA, died May 9, 2023. Bob was raised in Rutland and lived most of his life in Vermont, moving to the Overlook area in 2004. He was a graduate and salutatorian of the Class of 1949 at Mount St. Joseph Academy in Rutland and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Saint Michael’s. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War era.

Until his retirement in 2003, he owned and operated a modular home manufacturing company in Rutland and before that worked in radio broadcasting and advertising, including at radio station WIPS in Ticonderoga, NY. Bob was active in his Catholic parishes as a lector and member of the choir. He and his wife also volunteered for many years at other churches helping with picnics and fundraisers. Bob enjoyed sports and was an avid New England Patriots fan.

A son and grandson predeceased him. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, two sons, three daughters, a sister, three brothers and extended family.
