His career took him from Florida to the Bahamas where he worked on numerous projects, most notably Albany House in Nassau, Bahamas. This was a six-year design/build project of a lifetime. The owners also had Fred spend time in Bouville, France, working on the garden design at Chateau De Farcheville. Bob ended his career back in South Florida working on various projects including project managing the garden renovation of the Philip Hulitar Sculpture Garden on The Four Arts Society campus.

Fred loved music, especially rock ‘n’ roll, reggae and jazz, reading, films, gardening, and all ocean sports — interests he introduced and shared with his daughter Marlena. Bob was a nature lover who loved a good laugh.

Fred is survived by his wife, Mary, a daughter, two sisters, two brothers and extended family.
