Thomas R. Hickey ’65

THOMAS R. HICKEY, Farmington, CT, died July 27, 2023. Tom loved sports and was an exceptional competitive athlete during his school years in West Hartford, excelling in football (quarterback) and baseball, and was president of his Conard Senior High School class of 1961. After Saint Michael’s, he began his career at Aetna as a pension specialist, moving on to become a trust new business officer at Citibank, then working for A&S Accounting before retiring from his own accounting practice specializing in tax and estate planning, and as co-owner of Northeast Pension Planners. He loved being outdoors with family and friends, skiing, golfing, camping, gardening, traveling and dancing to old-time rock ‘n’ roll. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Charlotte, two sons, a sister, a brother, Richard Hickey ’61, and extended family.
