Timothy J. McEvoy ’78

TIMOTHY J. McEVOY, Cheshire, CT, died January 7, 2023 after a long illness. After graduation from SMC, Tim first got a sales job with industrial tool manufacturer Ingersoll Rand in Michigan. He transferred to Atlanta and developed his skills at Scientific Atlanta. Eventually he obtained a sales management position in Boston at a company that made temperature monitoring equipment for certain manufacturing processes. While there, he married Elisa Cresci. They then settled near New York City and had two children. Tim continued his work in sales management at Versatile Mobile Systems.

Tim became a good skier during his years at St. Mike’s. He was also an avid wind surfer and road cyclist.

He is survived by his ex-wife Elisa, his two adult children, 1st Lieutenant Tyler McEvoy and Conor McEvoy, his sister Mary Lynn, Keith and Tecumseh Collins, and his brother James (‘76), Susan and Dylan McEvoy.
