Mary Rath Helpdesk Supervisor

Mary is a transplant from San Marcos, Texas, where she was previously a systems support specialist for the English Department at Texas State University. She moved to Vermont after accepting a position as WordPress Designer for Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2021, and was promoted to IT Coordinator at VCFA in 2023. She holds a BS in electronic media and mass communication from TXST, and an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from VCFA.

In addition to her technical experience, Mary has also been a bookseller, a freelance illustrator, graphic designer, journalist, and photographer. She has a passion for art, language (written, spoken, and visual), travel, and Oxford commas.
