Donor Recognition

Leadership gifts fund everything from financial aid to undergraduate research, and are what enable the College to offer not only a good education but also a transformational experience for our students.

Giving Societies

We have four leadership giving societies:

The Associate President’s Medallion Society recognizes leadership donors who graduated in the past ten years.

Membership into the Associate President’s Medallion Society is earned by making a gift (or gifts) within the fiscal year that total the following amounts:

  • 10 years out from graduation: $500
  • 5-9 years out from graduation: $250
  • 1-4 years out from graduation: $100

The President’s Medallion Society recognizes leadership donors – alumni, parents, friends, corporations, and foundations – who give more than $1,000 annually. Gifts can be designated to any giving opportunity and the total gift does not all need to go to the same area of campus.

  • Cupola Level: $1,000 or more
  • Cronogue Level: $2,500 or more
  • Doherty Level: $5,000 or more
  • Sutton Level: $10,000 or more
  • Camel’s Hump Level: $25,000 or more
  • Mount Mansfield Level: $50,000 or more
  • Saint Edmund Level: $100,000 or more
  • Mont-Saint-Michel Level: $250,000 or more

The Heritage Circle honors benefactors who have remembered the College with a gift through their will, trust, life insurance plans, or life-income program.

The Society of Mont-Saint-Michel recognizes individuals, companies, and foundations who have given in excess of $250,000 in support of the College. Donors are recognized for all gifts to the College, whether to the Saint Michael’s Fund, endowed or term scholarships, endowed funds, temporarily restricted funds, or capital projects.

This giving society is named in honor of the famed abbey in Mont-Saint-Michel, France. The Society of Saint Edmund served as caretakers for the abbey from 1867 to 1886. Just as the Edmundites served as caretakers of the abbey, Saint Michael’s College considers members of the Society of Mont-Saint-Michel caretakers of the College.

Loyalty Society

Leadership takes on many forms, and at Saint Michael’s loyalty is synonymous with leadership.

The Loyalty Circle recognizes those who have given to the College for three or more consecutive years.
