John B. Kneen of Belvidere, VT died peacefully surrounded by loving family members at home and joined his wife of 71 years, Anne.

John was a heroic air rescue pilot in Korea, Vietnam, and the US. He received the Purple Heart, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Distinguished Flying Cross and other awards recognizing his contribution to our nation. He was a faithful supporter and volunteer at his church and fourth degree Knights of Columbus member. He loved living and investing in rural Vermont.
