Jay Ficco ’74

JAY FICCO, Douglas, MA, died August 31, 2023. He grew up in Franklin, MA, and had lived in Douglas for many years. After earning his Saint Michael’s degree in English literature and journalism, Jay went on to found First Fire Systems as a licensed sprinkler fitter. Known for his colorful personality, Jay loved riding his treasured Harley motorcycles and had a love for his animals as well as for the outdoors. He is survived by two sons, a stepson and extended family.
