L. James Ouellet ’72

L. JAMES OUELLET, Sebastian, FL, died June 23, 2023. Raised in Fort Kent Maine, he earned a double master’s in human resources and business administration at Nova University in Florida after his Saint Michael’s undergraduate studies in business. He worked for a time in various healthcare HR leadership roles, including at Selma Medical Center in Alabama, Fayette Community Hospital in Fayetteville, GA, North Broward Hospital in Fort Lauderdale and University Community Hospital in Tamarac, FL. After he and his wife eventually moved to Florida, he received his real estate license. Jim lived for some time in Boca Raton and Coral Springs, FL. In his earlier professional career, he was active in professional groups for healthcare administrators, and he enjoyed sports in younger days. Jim is survived by his wife, Marie, a daughter, a brother, three sisters and extended family.
