Mary Louise Coffin ’77

Mary Louise Coffin, Waukesha, WI, died May 21, 2023. After majoring in American Studies at Saint Michael’s, she received her master’s degree in philosophy from Marquette University and her MSM from Cardinal Stritch University.

Her work career included time as a claims representative with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee and earlier as a claims approver and disability specialist for John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance in the same city. She loved philosophy and theology and was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church for many years. Mary loved her family, music, marching bands and baseball. She was very dedicated to her community and her church.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Coffin, a daughter, a brother, a sister and extended family.
