Robert Edward Hussak, 65, passed away Thursday, August 13,2026 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital with his family by his side from a brief battle with cancer that he chose to keep private.

He was a 1979 graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy, received a B.S. in chemistry from Bethany College in Wheeling, West Virginia and a master’s degree in administration from Saint Michael’s College.

Previous employment included STO Corp and Fine Paints of Europe. At the time of his passing, he was employed with Autumn Harp since 2004. His most satisfying personal accomplishment, however, was clearing the land and building our home. Sitting on the porch admiring all the seasons, fall being the favorite, gave him great pleasure. Robert also enjoyed golfing, hunting, fly tying and fishing, especially with his father. He was also an avid skier and was thrilled teaching and skiing with his kids. Beginning at a young age, Robert had many opportunities to travel both in America and abroad. He loved car rides above all and was particularly fond of exploring obscure Vermont back roads.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Janet Hussak of Mendon. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Kugler), his three children, Cortland, Sophia and Laney, and his sister, Debbie (Gil) Normand.
