Robert “Jim” Nolet, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Dec. 8, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on Aug. 4, 1949, in Berlin, N.H., he was the only son of Mary Jane and Robert Nolet.
Growing up on a golf course, Jim developed a lifelong love for the game, becoming a scratch golfer and winning numerous tournaments.
Jim met the love of his life, Nancy, while working at P&C Grocery Store. Together, they shared long walks on golf courses and evenings filled with laughter and dancing. He cherished his family deeply, coaching his son Jeffrey with unwavering pride.
While much of his career was spent in sales, Jim’s true passion was working with children. For decades, he worked in Upper Valley schools, inspiring young athletes as an educator and coach. Known for his patience, kindness and dependability, Jim was always there to lend a hand or a listening ear.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Nancy; his children Jeffrey (partner Amy Rojek), Janna (husband Gary Thompson); Nancy’s children Stephanie (husband Doug Allard) and Daniel (co-parent Lauren); his grandchildren, Anna, Kailey, Matthew, Grace, Taylor, Abbey, Brianna, Jayden and Rowan.
He was predeceased by his late daughter, Jennifer Gionet.
His warmth, compassion and devotion to family and community will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
