Current job title and employer and briefly describe what it is you do: I am the Associate Director of Outright Vermont, a nonprofit working to build a Vermont where all LGBTQ youth have hope, equity, and power. In my role, work with program staff to create opportunities for youth to connect with their authentic sense of self and their peers; build strong, supportive families for youth to go home to; and transform communities and systems to better serve youth.

Academic experience at Saint Michael's College help prepare you for your career: Saint Michael’s College was my first experience of intentional community: Building on the common ground of human rights and social justice. As I’ve moved into my career, that belief in the ability of community to advocate for human dignity has created a firm foundation to grow on.

Completed or are completing a graduate program, please provide the name of the degree and institution: Public Health Equity Graduate Certificate, Saint Michael’s College

Translated your volunteer experience at Saint Michael’s into giving back to your community after graduation: SMC encouraged me to be a change-maker and an advocate, and connected me to others who were motivated to make the world a better place. My comrades continue to inspire me as I see where they go and the impacts they make in the world.
