What’s your MOVE story?
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve in Hartford, CT, New Orleans, LA, and Immokalee, FL. We volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, homeless and rehabilitation centers, and in underprivileged school districts.
In what ways did/does MOVE impact you?
MOVE changed my life. I met some of my best friends through MOVE service trips and learned how to be an active leader.
If you are an alumni, what influence does MOVE continue to have on your life today?
I am a senior, double majoring in Environmental and Religious Studies. I was recently accepted into a master’s program in leadership and nonprofit management, through which I hope to have a career in service and a life led by helping others.
