Where will St. Mike’s 2026 seniors go next? Spotlight on Jackson Cole ’26

At Saint Michael’s College, Jackson Cole ’26 has combined academics and athletics to develop a clear vision for his future. 

A Business Administration major with a minor in Accounting, Cole will attend law school at Syracuse University after graduating from Saint Michael’s in May. 

The Newark, Delaware, native strives to continue learning and mastering the skills he developed during his undergraduate experience. Cole credits the community he found at Saint Michael’s as the driving force behind his future success. 

Cole recently shared his hopes for the future, as well as how Saint Michael’s has helped shape them, in a Q&A interview. 

The following Q&A interview has been lightly edited for style and clarity. 

Saint Michael’s College: What are your career/education plans after graduating from Saint Michael’s College? 

Jackson Cole: After graduation, I will be attending law school at Syracuse University.

SMC: How did Saint Michael’s College support you to get to this point?  

JC: Saint Michael’s has the kindest and most supportive professors I could have ever hoped for. They have supported me in and out of the classroom and played a huge role in shaping my future. The Men’s Ice Hockey team has been my family, and the coaching staff throughout the years has shaped me into the person I am proud to be.

SMC: What will you take with you into post-grad life from your education at Saint Michael’s?

JC: What I will take with me into my post-graduate life is a strong sense of community, a desire to always learn more, and the confidence to apply myself.

SMC: What are you most looking forward to after graduation? 

JC: After graduation, I am looking forward to seeing where all my friends end up, connecting with professors, and seeing St. Mike’s develop and grow.

SMC: Do you have a career/education goal for the next five years? 

JC: My career goal in the next five years is to practice corporate law in a major city, preferably in the Delaware or Philadelphia legal markets.
