Vermont Transfer Guarantee
The Vermont Transfer Guarantee is a statewide transfer pathway program that allows students who complete an associate degree at the Community College of Vermont (CCV) to transfer seamlessly to a participating four-year Vermont institution. Students who earn a minimum GPA of 2.5 while at CCV are guaranteed admission to Saint Michael’s with a minimum of 60 earned credits.
Though Vermont Transfer Guarantee students are eligible to pursue a wide variety of majors at both CCV and Saint Michael’s, the institutions have developed structured 2+2 pathways for several popular programs. These pathways illustrate how students may efficiently complete degree requirements for specific programs across both institutions. While the pathways outline recommended courses, students and their advisors may make adjustments based on academic interests, transfer credits, and scheduling considerations. Students are encouraged to consult with a CCV advisor to discuss their goals and determine the plan of study that best supports their academic interests and transfer goals.
