Inside Look

Curriculum

At St. Michael’s, the big picture matters. Our Economics majors build a strong foundation to understand how models, markets, and systems work together to create specific economic conditions. From there, they dive into topics such as environmentalism, healthcare, political science, and more, all through the lens of economics.

Where would you like to go deeper? Your studies will culminate in a two-semester research thesis on a question you develop, research, and analyze, using the same process followed by working economists. The second semester is an independent study that culminates when you present your findings, a valuable experience offering valuable experience that can lead to grad school or employment.
