Curriculum

Project Management minor courses are taught on campus and online through a partnership with Rize Education. This combination, supported by a Saint Michael’s liberal arts education, prepares students to succeed right out of college and far beyond.

In this minor, you will focus on real-world applications with key benefits that include:

  • Practical Skill Development: Learn to use tools and techniques for planning, executing, and monitoring projects.

  • Agile Methodologies: Gain exposure to Agile frameworks increasingly used in dynamic environments.
  • CAPM® Certification Preparation: The curriculum is designed to provide comprehensive preparation for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® exam offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. Earning this globally recognized credential significantly boosts your resume and demonstrates your foundational expertise to employers.

This minor prepares you for roles involving project coordination and support, or significantly enhances your qualifications for positions within your major field that require project oversight.
