Join us, September 15th  – 17th for a fun filled weekend on campus, visiting Church St. and exploring all Vermont has to offer in early fall!

We highly recommend making hotel reservations as soon as possible. In addition to Fall Alumni and Family Weekend at St. Michael’s, Burlington will be hosting its annual Street Rod event at the Champlain Valley Expo and Vermont native, Grace Potter will be hosting the Annual Grand Point North Festival along the Burlington Waterfront. A number of local hotels offer discounted rates to alumni and family of St. Michael’s, visit our website for a complete list.

Tours of the St. Michael's College Farm & Community Farm Day
Tours begin at 3:00 p.m. and head out every half-hour, meet at the Pomerleau Alumni Center. Fridays are our Community Farm Day, if you're up for more of an adventure consider spending the afternoon with us learning about small-scale sustainable agriculture techniques from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Celebrate the Farm bounty and all the hard work at 4:00 p.m. with snacks made with farm-fresh veggies!

Arts Riot Truck Stop - Head into Burlington and visit the Friday night Truck Stop. A variety of food vendors offer everything from pork belly and barbecue to Malaysian street food and vegan noodles. A fun night out for everyone, but be sure to arrive early!

Viewing of First They Killed My Father - Netflix Movie based on the autobiography by Loung Ung '93

Loung Ung was only 5 years old when the Khmer Rouge soldiers stormed into her native city of Phnom Penh. Four years later, in one of the bloodiest episodes of the 20th century, some two million Cambodians – out of a population of seven million – had died at the hands of the infamous Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge regime. Among the victims were both of Loung’s parents, two sisters, and 20 other relatives. In 1980, Loung, her older brother Meng and his wife, escaped by boat to Thailand, where they spent five months in a refugee camp before relocating to the United States in Vermont.
