    Current job title and employer and briefly describe what it is you do: Spanish Teacher at Kent School. I live and teach Spanish at a boarding school in CT. I am also an advisor and coach.

    Academic experience at Saint Michael's College help prepare you for your career: As I teach Spanish it was pretty much everything! I also took lots of classes in the linguistics department, including a methodology class on teaching a foreign language.

    Favorite memory or class from your time studying at St. Mike’s: In my major, my favorite classes were reading Don Quijote and Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. In my minor, my favorite class was Judaism in the Greco-Roman World. I also loved my semester abroad in Salamanca, Spain.

    Completed or are completing a graduate program, please provide the name of the degree and institution: I graduated from Middlebury with a master's degree in Spanish Language and Linguistics in 2010.

    Translated your volunteer experience at Saint Michael’s into giving back to your community after graduation: The school I teach at places a big emphasis on community service. I have participated in/led some service trips with my students to Peru, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico as well as some other projects much closer to home.
