My Best Memory From My First Year At SMC: During the beginning of the school year there is a massive club fair for the whole school. During this fair every table you go to stamps a card you are given, and in the end if you fill your card then you tokens that you can spend on food. This is one of my best memories because it’s a time where everyone comes together and just enjoys the outside. It’s also one of the first big college wide events which helps the first years get integrated into what the year is going to be like.
One Thing I Wish I Knew Before I Moved In My First Year: Definitely talk with your roommates beforehand about boundaries. It can be stressful, but it will make both of your lives easier in the long run. Even just telling your roommate what time you expect to get up in the morning will help make your routine smoother during the first few weeks.
