Martin Luther King Jr. Society

We, as students of Saint Michael’s College, in collaboration with the Center for Multicultural Affairs and Services establish an organization to academically and socially support our peers by providing educational opportunities that emphasize social justice in regards to race.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Society annually plans and hosts the MLK Convocation, an annual week-long event that includes speakers, film, poetry and panel discussions to promote better understanding of issues of bias, prejudice and racism. The MLK Society also hosts an annual Talent Show to showcase the talent of Saint Michael’s students.

The meeting times are determined during the fall semester and meets in Alliot 223 Conference Room.
