Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, located in Joyce Hall, oversees the fiscal needs of the campus. The VPF’s office manages all the areas listed below, and is also responsible for the day-to-day work on property and casualty insurance coverage and claims and rental property oversight.

Finance Office

The Finance Office is also located in Joyce Hall. This office provides financial information about the College for both internal and external use, and is responsible for the development and monitoring of capital and operating budgets and the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports. In addition, compliance activities coordinated by this office include information security, grants administration, and compliance with other relevant regulations.

Business Services

The Business Services Department oversees the purchasing process, contract administration, college insurance programs, and manages the campus store, printing services, the post office and dining services.

Conferences and Special Events

The Conferences and Special Events office coordinates meetings and special events for students, faculty, and staff, as well as on-campus conferences for other businesses and non-profit organizations and celebrations/special events for alumni and friends.

Along with oversight of these departments, the CFO is responsible for any other operations required to carry on the financial and treasury functions of the College. This responsibility includes undertaking special projects such as College bond management, investment oversight, insurance review, investigation for property acquisition and disposal, review and approval for large purchases and contracts, etc. The CFO’s office is also responsible for the day-to-day work on property and casualty insurance coverage and claims and rental property oversight.

We also maintain policies and procedures to safeguard the College’s assets and serves many audit, tax and other regulatory compliance functions. Our customers include students, parents, campus departments, the Board of Trustees, external auditors, regulatory agencies and the public.
